Becky Moreland is the founder and Executive Director of RAHAB (Reaching Above Homelessness and Brokenness) Ministries which seeks to rescue and restore women who are trafficked into prostitution. Becky founded the ministry in 2002 after hearing a radio program featuring a ministry to prostituted women in Chicago. She then traveled to Chicago to see the ministry and has since traveled across the U.S. and to Thailand, Cambodia and Africa to better understand the plight of human sex trafficking victims.
Becky is a lay counselor and holds a chaplaincy certificate from Wheaton College. She is also a gifted speaker, traveling around the country to teach about human trafficking. Becky has four grown children who also share her vision and volunteer with the ministry.
Two years ago, Becky and Richard White met through a mutual friend and were quick to share their passion for serving the broken, lost, and unloved. They have developed a collaborative relationship between their respective organizations, sharing volunteers, launching combined fundraising efforts, and educating the public through joint appearances, discussing the topics of sex trafficking and incarcerated youth. Their heart to serve those in need is helping to build bridges between diverse cultures and races
